Africa Prudential Releases H1 2017 Financials, Grows Profit by Over 200%





Africa Prudential in its half year 2017 financials grew registrar's income by 12% to N464mn, an 87% rise in net investment income boosted gross earning by 55% to N1,467mn. Impairment loss rose to N63mn, while total expense grew by 35% to N479mn. Profit before tax jumped by 57% to N951mn, while after tax profit grew by 229% to N864mn as income tax slipped by 75%.

Balance sheet numbers showed an 11% rise in total assets to N19bn, financial assets were up by 17% to N13bn and deposits rose by 11% to N13bn. See details of the result below.
